Ahhh! after being upset that I missed the snow in Virginia in December, the heavens have opened up and given me a snow day to experience! It snowed all day yesterday and it was so pretty. I woke up and looked out of our window and just saw white, white and more white snow piled up on the ground, on people’s patios, chairs, cars, etc. I didn’t want to play in it until it stopped snowing, so… I didn’t play at all on Saturday. But I did walk to a friend’s apartment and on the way there (all 50 ft…) I marveled at how quiet campus was without all the cars on the road. I heard a scream here and there, not from crazy drunk students, but from people having snowball fights in the park.. it was nice to hear rather than all the drunk yelling and sirens wailing etc etc. Sigh….it was nice. Today Timmy and I trudged through the snow to go to Chipotle for dinner. We saw a bunch of people wearing inappropriate clothes for this kind of weather. Really, shorts and a tshirt in freezing cold temperatures?? People are so crazy.
It’s the start of February, which is going to be a REALLY crazy month. I have at least a test and a quiz almost every week, plus with Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year and Regional Conference to get ready for, it’s a whole lot of added stress!! I hope I can pull through..
